The purpose of this course is to promote Competency Standard I: To establish and maintain a safe, healthy learning environment. Topics include teaching young children about safety, keeping the indoor and outdoor environment safe, promoting wellness, teaching developmentally appropriate health practices and setting up an engaging environments.
