Workplace Violence/Active Shooter Awareness
Quickly determine the most reasonable way to protect your own life and the lives of your co-workers. Employees are likely to follow the lead of directors/managers during an active shooter situation. Recognize the signs of potential workplace violence.
Speaker: Jimmy Rohrer
Jimmy Rohrer is a 35 year law enforcement professional, having served 27 years with the Dayton Police Department, two years with the University of Dayton Department of Public Safety and has been employed by Premier Health since April 2009. Jimmy has held numerous assignments in his career, including patrol officer, narcotics detective, homicide detective, patrol sergeant, 9-1-1 coordinator, SWAT sergeant, and detective sergeant. He has attended training from the FBI, DEA and the United States Secret Service. He has received numerous commendations and citations for his efforts in law enforcement and his teaching programs. Jimmy is a State of Ohio certified law enforcement instructor, and has taught classes at the Dayton Police Academy, Sinclair Community College and various law enforcement academies in the Dayton Metro region.
