Hear about the Westchester lawsuit that exposed the federal government's real agenda!

See the Fox New video clip of Astorino challenging HUD's neighborhood diversity mandates!

The RI Center for Freedom & Prosperity is pleased to present Rob Astorino, Westchester County Executive and former NY gubernatorial candidate, to discuss how he is fighting to protect residents from federal over-reach, since the County's historic court case and settlement with HUD.

In 2014, Rhode Islanders learned the dangers of RhodeMapRI. This year, Governor Gina Raimondo is backing a related Brookings Institution plan that will put the soverignty of our local communities - and YOUR PROPERTY RIGHTS - at risk. Rob Astorino has lived through it.

The dominoes are starting to fall. Last month, Baltimore was forced to comply with oppressive new HUD mandates. And just this month, new HUD guidelines will make it a potential crime for landlords to conduct background checks on renters, putting the safety of property and tenants at risk!

Council members and concerned citizens: Learn how your city or town can protect itself from this intrusive federal over-reach!

This interactive fundraising event for the Center will be held at The Carriage Inn & Saloon in North Kingstown, RI on Sunday April 24, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM. Q & A from attendees encouraged.

Tax-deductible donations of $25.00 per person; cash bar available.

Host Committee: Warren & Joyce Galkin, Ellen & Harris Kenner, Adri Kalisvaart, Tina & Don McKendall, Steve Tetzner, Mark & Ruth Zaccaria

Biography:

Rob Astorino is a husband and father to three school age children. His wife, Sheila, is a special education teacher. Rob is an ardent political reformer, serving his second, four-year term as Westchester County Executive. He is a life-long Westchester resident who was prompted to run for office by the very real needs of his neighbors. Chief among them is the strain that cripplingly high property taxes puts on household budgets.
