From Recipe to Marketplace: Launching Your Food Product 

 

Do you have a culinary concept or food products already on the market? Are you running a food or drink establishment and want to launch your own food product? This information-packed workshop will help you understand how to take advantage of the trends in the growing $56 billion U.S. specialty foods market. Your food idea can become a marketplace reality!

Industry expert Terry Frishman will lead you through the key steps to effectively create, manufacture, package, distribute and market your delicious food products. Whether you own a food establishment or want to market your food concept, her dynamic, energetic approach will give you the confidence to realize that realizing or expanding your food ideas can be very doable! 

She provides valuable insights into how the food industry trends, along with your own personal values can determine what product to market and how to market it.

At the end of this workshop, you will be able to:

  • Summarize specialty food and natural food industries, and the top trends in those sectors

Terry Frishman, industry expert and Principal of the boutique food consultancy Culinest,  terry frishman pixinspires and helps food start-ups and more established culinary businesses profitably excel. As a creative food marketing and business consultant, coach and educator, Terry (Columbia MBA) specializes in taking culinary businesses to the next level via strategic and tactical assistance, and recently was Sarabeth's International Sales Manager. Terry regularly instructs culinary business classes, and has been a repeat guest speaker on Food Network, International Restaurant Show and the Fancy Food Show. She's served on Boards of Directors for professional organizations and taught thousands of aspiring food entrepreneurs. As Product Manager at Kraft, Terry won 6 team awards, launched a $20M brand and successfully managed $120M brand.
