In Collaboration with SEEPP, The Cape Cod Children's Museum is offering a Professional Learning Community for Educators in Region 5 on the implementation of the PreK STE Life Science Standards and how they can be introduced into program planning.

EARTH’S SYSTEMS
The Pre-K Science and Technology/Engineering Standards (STE) are the highest quality early learning and development standards for children that articulate multi-domain expectations for children's growth and support continuity in early education from birth through kindergarten. These standards will provide a foundation for creating learning and growth opportunities for children across all communities and families and across both informal and formal environments.

EARTH’S SYSTEMS
This training will explore Earth’s Systems- specifically weather and the local environment (Pre-K-ESS2) Using fun, interactive techniques, early child care educators will engage in playful activities that explore how our local weather effects our environment. Participants will leave with handouts, materials and tools that they will be able to use the next day with their students.
