Masters' Intensive Usui Three                   Spokane Washington USA 

In June 2016, Masters met with Phyllis and Paul for the first Usui Three. The structure of this meeting was different than the other Usui Intensives.  In Intensives Usui One and Two, Phyllis and Paul gave information about the form of Usui Shiki Ryoho and illustrating this with their experiences.  Here the masters came to work together, using their own experiences, understanding, and insight as they responded to the call of the system.  

The underlying question asked was:  Does the system Usui Shiki Ryoho have all it needs to provide a student with a spiritual practice?

We examined this through a series of questions that were based on the 4 Aspects and the relationship of Master and Student with the System, filling this matrix with words that articulated the depth of human experience Reiki touches.  

In June 2017, another group of Masters from Usui Shiki Ryoho will meet in Spokane Washington to engage in the next stage of exploration of Usui Shiki Ryoho as a spiritual practice.  The underlying questions are: What is spiritual development? What are the markers that may be a way of charting spiritual development?

The planning group for this Intensive likens this work to a vision quest: going into the unknown of the Self and (in this case) the System of practice that we share, bringing back understandings and impressions that will make more conscious the foundation of Usui Shiki Ryoho as a spiritual practice.  

This exploration will inform and give substance to the other three Aspects of the system:  Healing Practice, Personal Development and Mystic Order as well.  

Prerequisites:  Being a Master of Usui Shiki Ryoho.
