Trainer: Doug Crane, Palm Beach County Library System
Doug Crane is the Director of the Palm Beach County Library System. He started In Palm Beach as children's librarian eighteen years ago and soon moved his way up the organization. He was appointed system library director in 2014 and has led the system to numerous awards including an Urban Library Council Innovation Award. The Public Library Association recruited him as their first podcast speaker in 2015. He is also the author of the article, “May I Ask You a Question - Lessons Learned from Interviewing Public Library Leaders”, published in the Nov/Dec 2015 issue of Public Libraries.
