How can we make the best use of our limited time during the day and overcome procrastination?  What are the best ways that we can make effective and lasting progress on our important goals?  Learn the most productive principles of project management and meeting structure in this fast paced and interactive seminar.  Participants will learn the secrets to habit formation that are necessary to apply the principles of productivity. This workshop is based in part on the books The Power of Habit and Smarter, Faster, Better by Charles Duhigg and Getting Things Done® by David Allen.

Trainer: Doug Crane, Palm Beach County Library System

Doug Crane is the Director of the Palm Beach County Library System. He started In Palm Beach as children's librarian eighteen years ago and soon moved his way up the organization. He was appointed system library director in 2014 and has led the system to numerous awards including an Urban Library Council Innovation Award. The Public Library Association recruited him as their first podcast speaker in 2015. He is also the author of the article, “May I Ask You a Question - Lessons Learned from Interviewing Public Library Leaders”, published in the Nov/Dec 2015 issue of Public Libraries.
