Craft Farm to Bottle Summit Virtual

The Robert C. Byrd Institute, West Virginia Food and Farm Coalition and Brilliant Stream are teaming up to host a Virtual Craft Farm to Bottle Summit.

Brewers, farmers, retailers and those in the tourism industry are invited to virtually gather together for updates on the craft beverage industry Thursday, December 3, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Charles Bockway, craft beverage aficionado and publisher of BrilliantStream.com, will discuss how the Covid-19 Pandemic is affecting the industry and projects related to it. Participants also will hear about legislative priorities and learn about the Food and Farm Coalition.

A staple of each summit, the Pour it Forward reception at the conclusion of the program will take place virtually this year, as well. Participants are encouraged to grab a glass of their favorite WV Craft beverage and join in a social hour from 7 to 8 p.m.

“Over the last two years, great progress has been made in exploring and developing the craft beverage industry in West Virginia,”  said Bill Woodrum, RCBI director of entrepreneurship and agricultural innovations. “The Covid-19 Pandemic certainly paused a lot of our efforts and we wanted to get everyone together to regroup and discuss how the industry can emerge from the restrictions once they are lifted.”
