Our Speaker for the Super Bowl Post Mortem is Shawn Hitchcock. Shawn is currently Business Development Manager with Shiel Sexton. During the run up to the Super Bowl, Shawn served as Director of Special Projects and Village Operations on the Indianapolis 2012 Super Bowl Host Committee. His 3 main projects were: THE LEGACY PROJECT
Managed and lead the design, fundraising, conceptual planning, and construction of the Chase Near Eastside Legacy Center. $11.3 Million
NFC PRACTICE FACILITY
Managed and created the budget, concept, planning, and selection of the NFC Practice Facility to meet the NFL specifications. This included the relocation of portions to the Legacy Project upon completion of the Super Bowl.
SUPER BOWL VILLAGE
Planned, Implemented, and operated the Super Bowl Village. The Super Bowl village was a multi-million dollar, fully donor funded, 10 day, outdoor event in the streets of Indianapolis. Over 60 bands, the longest temporary zipline ever constructed, a synthetic turf field, food/ beverage, live TV production, LED walls, pyrotechnics, and lights shows drew over 1.1 million patrons.
