Train the Technology Trainer: Creating Successful eBook Classes for Users - Ocala (2/4/14)

With the rise of ebook use continuing to explode, users are demanding more and more assistance with their ebook devices...and the devices continues to explode in number and transform in functionality. From dedicated readers like Kindles and Nooks to tablets and phones, users can access materials on a variety of devices.

How can you teach a success workshop on accessing ebooks? Classes employ different techniques than those used in one-on-one sessions with our users. Join us to learn how to successfully teach ebook courses for your users.

During this course, we will:

  • Identify popular ebook readers and discuss basic ebook formats
  • Learn how to successfully teach users how to load library ebooks on each reader in a classroom environment
  • Discuss the common pitfalls, questions and sticky issues often faced in a classroom environment
  • Discuss handouts, follow-up and other tools you can utilize to make each class a success
