RDA 201 - Beyond the Basics: Webinar (06/16/15)

Do some RDA instructions still confuse you? You are not alone! Join us for RDA 201: Beyond the Basics, where we will look at the RDA topics that seem to confuse catalogers the most. Topics include:

  • Guidelines on transcription (capitalization, punctuation, symbols, etc.)
  • Preferred source
  • Noun phrases in title and statement of responsibility
  • The MARC 264 fields
  • Large print reproductions
  • Series and subseries numbering
  • Compilations and collaborations
  • Relationship designators

We’ll tackle each topic in greater depth than an introductory RDA course, looking at the tricky issues surrounding each and providing practical guidance on how to handle their complexity.

Virtual Trainer: Christee Pascale, North Carolina State University Libraries
