Better Looking Images Using Your Basic Powerpoint Design Tools - Webinar (03/16/21)

Assuming you’re like most of humanity, you don’t have years of training in graphic design or access to those fancy tools that are both expensive and complicated.

And all you want to do is improve the images you use on your website, blogs, promotional pieces, and webinars. The good news is that that ole standby, Powerpoint, comes with a set of design tools that allow you to modify images and transfer to other platforms. You can crop, lighten and brighten, darken and fade, sharpen the focus, add color and texture, create frames, combine images in a grid, and overlay images with text or even other images.

This is a “lightning” presentation, meaning after an introduction to the basic tools, we will whiz you through at least 40 before and after examples of images pulled from free sites such as pixabay.comWe’ll also vet some cheap versions of favorite design tools.

We hope you find some inspiration in what you can do with the online equivalent of crayons and a napkin to give image a professional boost.

Cost: NEFLIN classes are free of charge for Florida library staff. Registration is required for all classes and NEFLIN members get priority.
