You are invited to join Dr. Jarred Amato, founder of Project LIT Community, for a workshop full of ideas and inspiration, collaboration and community. We’ll discuss how we can work together to reimagine literacy and reignite all students’ love of reading in the years ahead.

Jarred can’t wait to share middle grade and young adult book recommendations, offer tips for powerful teacher-librarian collaboration, and show attendees how to launch their own Project LIT “chapter” next fall! Project LIT Community is a national grassroots movement led by passionate students and educators across the country, including dozens of schools here in Florida.

This Saturday event is open to any NEFLIN member, but it is designed to provide school librarians the opportunity to attend a workshop without needing to take time away from the school day.  A one-hour lunch break will be provided, and attendees are welcome to bring a lunch to eat on site.
