Resolving IRS Tax Debt In 2014

Overview

The largest and most aggressive debt collector is the IRS. Operating under the auspices of the Department of Treasury, this agency has access to personal and business financial information for the purpose of imposing bank levies, wage garnishments and involuntary property sales to satisfy uncollected tax debt. So what rights as taxpayers do business owners have when faced with more than $10,000 of IRS debt? This seminar answers questions such as:

• What Happens If My Business is Audited by the IRS?

• Is there a Way to Get an IRS Lien or Levy Removed?

• When Will the IRS Seize My Business Assets to Satisfy an Outstanding Debt?

• What is an Offer in Compromise?

• How Long Will the IRS Attempt to Collect a Debt?

• Will Filing Bankruptcy Shelter Me From IRS Debt?

Substantial time will be allotted for Q&A

Description:

A PowerPoint presentation will be used. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions throughout the presentation and at the conclusion of the presentation.
