Small Business Website Design:
Create A Site That Wows Customers

Overview:

Learn about all the things that you as a business owner need to know about preparing to have a website made and how to work with a designer/developer

Description:
Learn about all the things that you as a business owner need to know about preparing to have a website made and how to work with a designer/developer. Before even talking to a designer, you need to plan your website. What are you going to say? How will you grab their attention? How will you organize the content? What do you want your audience to do? What images are you going to show? You can’t leave these decisions to the designer. It’s YOUR business!

This workshop will take you through the planning stages of a site, walk you through how to work with a designer/developer and show you the steps that they go through to make your site a reality.

Please Note:
To round out your website education, you may want to take our afternoon workshop, "Take Control of your Website with Wordpress: What Every Business Owner Needs to Know" which teaches you about Wordpress, its capabilities and what that means to your website project. Learn about themes, plugins and a demo of how you can add/edit content and add images and video.

If you wish to take this workshop, you must register separately for it. For details and to register, go to: www.scorechicago.org/workshops/ and scroll down to "Take Control of your Website with Wordpress: What Every Business Owner Needs to Know".
