CAPPA, in partnership with the DSS Office of Audit Services, will be delivering a training for our field focused on auditing and best practices. During the first part of the training, the DSS audit staff will be presenting an overview of current federal and state fiscal requirements for child development programs, as well as resources related to audit requirements and audit report reviews. Time will be set aside for a Q&A session. During part 2, an independent auditor versed on our contract types will present on how agencies should be preparing and complying with state and federal requirements. Currently, we are also working to secure a tax attorney to serve as a resource for complicated questions
