Fighting Illegal Dumping in Unincorporated Areas
This Local Environmental Enforcement Roundtable* will focus on how counties can fight illegal dumping using existing laws, other legal tools, and alternative powers of enforcement.
The Houston-Galveston Area Council hosts quarterly Local Environmental Enforcement Roundtables (LEER) to provide a forum for learning about and discussing illegal dumping and related issues within the H-GAC region.
The group includes peace officers, county prosecutors, city officials, and personnel from TCEQ's Region 12 office.
*Two hours of continuing education credit for this roundtable has been approved by the Texas Department of State Health Services.
