Join us for the Parks and Natural Areas Roundtable Field Trip on Thursday, November 17, for a tour of Rick Rice Park, 700 Mason Creek Trail, Katy. We will learn more about this award-winning park and future plans. We will meet at Francesca's Garden at 1:30 p.m.
Driving Directions: Take I-10 to Westgreen and go south. In a couple of lights, you’ll hit Kingsland and turn right. Once on Kingsland, turn into the first parking lot you see, and the pavilion will be on your left shortly after that
The Parks and Natural Areas Roundtable serves as a forum for discussion of issues related to parks and natural areas and promotes the annual Parks and Natural Areas Award Program. The Roundtable facilitates information exchange and planning efforts between various stakeholders and collaborators to protect and preserve parks and natural areas across the region.
The Roundtable meets the second Monday of July and October, with field trips in the spring and fall and an awards recognition ceremony in February. The group is open to anyone interested in participating.
