This 90-minute training is an introduction to the 6-week course which will be offered beginning on October 4, 2023 from a parenting perspective.

Learn how alcohol and other drugs affect the developing brain and cause distinct behaviors in individuals.  Learn the importance of approaching these behaviors through a brain-based, traum-informed lens, reducing frustration and expanding options for therapeutic interventions.  As caregivers, learn effective strategies and how to utilize them to empower those diagnosed with FA/NB.  This 90-minute overview is an introduction to the 6-week course offered beginning on October 4, 2023.  Become part of the solution to creating a more peaceful environment for home and beyond.

Tamra Cajo, LCSW is a Certified Facilitator of the FASCETS Neurobehavioral Model and the Director of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders Clinic at The Florida Center for Early Childhood. Tamra graduated with a master's degree in social work from Loyola University in Chicago (2005) and a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Iowa (1993).
