Washington High School Tour & Holiday Mixer
The holidays are about family and friends, lights, good food and cheer, so CSI Portland will be hosting a holiday mixer at the recently completed Washington High School. Come and mingle with industry colleagues and tour an amazing project.
About the project
Washington High School has sat vacant for decades and the Central Eastside neighborhoods have long desired that the school be returned to an active, community-enhancing use. Plans for the revitalization project focused on preserving the building’s historical integrity, restoring the exterior façade, and giving new life to the building’s interior core. The 23,040-square-foot ground floor will have new entries, allowing direct access for retailers along SE Stark and SE 14th Avenue. The second, third, and fourth levels feature over 50,000 SF of creative/flex office space. And, at the heart of the building, is a historic auditorium that will be used for music performances and corporate events.
Offering incentives to extend our reach
Because this time of year is all about getting together, we are extending our member rate to our partner organization members. All members of other A/E/C organizations (view a list here) are invited to celebrate the holidays with us. We are also offering a discount to member guests--half off! What a great opportunity to bring a spouse, friend, co-worker, or colleague to this fun event.
Don't forget to help our toy drive
This party will also be the culmination of our toy drive, so please bring a new, unwrapped toy. All toys (or donations) will go to Randall's Children’s Hospital. Our goal is to collect 500 toys this season to bring a smile to a sick child's face.
