January 2016 Luncheon Meeting & Speaker Event
Join us for Lunch on Thursday, Jan. 21st with guest Speaker Dana Basney who will be giving a Fraud & the Accounting Profession Presentation. You will earn 1 CPE credit for attending. Lunch will be provided by Apple Spice Junction.
Dana Basney is a retired Managing Director of CBIZ MHM, LLC and a former Shareholder of Mayer Hoffman McCann PC. He has practiced public accounting for approximately 40 years. He was in charge of CBIZ MHM San Diego Office's litigation support, due diligence,and valuatio n departments prior to retiring in 2013.
Dana holds a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine and received a Master's Degree in Business Administration and Accounting from San Diego State University.
In the course of h is career, Mr. Basney has obtained the follow-ing professional credentials:
* Certified Public Accountant licensed to practice in the state
of California (CPA)
* Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)
* Certified Reorganization and Insolvency Accountant (CIRA)
* Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA)
* Accredited in the area of Business Valuation by the
American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (ABV)
* Certified in Financial Forensics by the American Institute
of Certified Public Accountants (CFF)
* Master's Degree in Business Administration and
Accounting (MSBA)
Apple Spice Junction Boxed Lunch Menu:
Choice of a sandwich: Club, Herb Roasted Chicken, Office Favorite or Vegetarian.
With a Choice of One side: Pasta Salad, Potato Salad, or Potato Chips.
Each boxed lunch comes with a pickle, lettuce, cookie and a mint. (mustard and mayo on the side).
For those who are gluten free we're offering Salad choice:
Apple Walnut Salad, Mandarin Chicken Salad, Seafood & Avocado Salad and Southwest Chicken Salad.
Each salad is served with fresh baked bread and a cookie.
Beverages: Regular and diet soda, and bottled water.
