Waterworks 101 Presented by South Sound Subsection PNWS-AWWA 

 

This training will present basic concepts and practices used in the water service industry including: water hydraulics, how a water system works, pipes, valves, hydrants, service lines and water meters. We will also be covering basics on tapping water mains, how weather conditions can affect water supply and delivery, water quality and flushing, and speaking with the public regarding water quality complaints. .6 CEU's awarded for full day attendance. Lunch is provided.

Cancellation Policy - If a registrant is unable to attend the workshop and a substitute within the organization can attend, please contact Ronda Farmer at rfarmer@pnws-awwa.org to update the information.  If unable to attend or send a substitute contact the above at least one week before the workshop for a refund (minus a $10 processing fee).  Refunds after that time will not be given. 

If the workshop is cancelled due to lack of registration or another reason, full refunds will be given.
