The Alliance has rescheduled our annual Shatter the Stigma Family Festival & 5K to September 20, 2020. You can register for September here.

Your health and the health of your family is the most important thing right now as we battle this COVID19 storm so while we wait for September, we are hosting a FREE Virtual 5K to help families stay positive and healthy during these uncertain times.

Sign up, pick a time to walk/run, post your selfie and win!

How to Participate:

1.  Register today for the FREE Alliance Virtual 5K - link is below  (share with your family and friends)

2.  Pick a nice day during the month of April to walk/run your own 5K.... while exercising social distancing of course!

3. Take a selfie of you and your crew and post with these hashtags:

#MyStepsCount2020

#PreventionWorks

 4.  Tag the Alliance on Facebook @achcmi, Instagram @allianceofcoalitions and Twitter @achcmichigan

Here are some great free apps to track your 5K:  Charity Miles, Strava, Map My Run, Run Keeper, Zombies Run

Don't forget the prizes!  We will have a random drawing for several gift cards at the end of this event. You must register to win.

How else can I help?

Funding for our programs is more important than ever before, with the uncertainty that is circling our community and its effect on individuals struggling with substance misuse. The Alliance Virtual 5K is free to participate and while financial support is greatly appreciated, it is NOT required to participate.

Start your own DIY Fundraiser: If you are in a position to help, you can start your own DIY fundraiser and share with your friends. This is NOT a requirement to participate, but greatly appreciated during this time.

Donate Today: - The funds raised will help the Alliance with programs that are so important to families and individuals in Oakland County.
