Governance features prominently in the work that needs to be done to operationalize the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has prioritized good governance as a key driver of change in its vision of an Asia and Pacific region free of poverty, and as part of its efforts to support developing member countries (DMCs) in attaining the SDGs.
Gambhir Bhatta, Technical Advisor for Governance at the Asian Development Bank, will talk about the work that ADB is doing to support governance reforms in its DMCs, and how governance issues are set to evolve in the coming years as they are played out at local levels.
