Graduate Success Club

Painless Practice and Osteopathic Consultancy have created this brand new club to support Osteopaths who have graduated over the last few years. Fast track your success by working on your practice with our team of experts and other like-minded Osteopaths. You don't have to run your practice on your own!

Do you want more from your practice than it is currently delivering?

Would you like to avoid wasting money on marketing?

Would you like to have a clear, easy to implement plan and marketing strategy in place?

Would you like to feel supported and have a team who you can bounce ideas off?

Celia, a specialist business coach, speaker and author in the health sector, has worked with thousands of therapists, helping them to enjoy their work and achieve their vision. The Painless Practice team provide assistance to practitioners who want to increase patient numbers, grow their practice or manage their practice and team better. Celia and her team help practitioners grow and transform their practices to achieve their desired success.

For the first time, you'll also have an opportunity to combine business and clinical mentoring. Part of each workshop will allow time to focus on clinical aspects too.

Were you hoping for more support through your onset into your osteopathic career?

Do you feel isolated in your practice and need fresh ideas?

Does your current schedule allow time for you to learn and grow as a practitioner?

Ever wonder what awaits you in osteopathy? How your osteopathy will develop post graduation?

Amberin and Avni from Osteopathic Consultancy draw upon their years in practice to provide you with useful everyday skills and tools to improve your clinical journey.

Often in practice one’s intention is to spend time and develop as practitioners, be it through self development, reflective processes or peer interaction.  All too many times, practicalities lead one to be locked away in treatment rooms, settling into a routine.  Avni and Amberin’s aim is to have you think, search and explore your clinical journey.  Through sharing experiences from years in practice, both practical and applicable, you will be able to implement new ideas into your practice immediately.

The workshops will be highly interactive and will be made up of:

Various business development topics - content as well as how to specifically apply the ideas to your own practice

An open forum to bring challenges and opportunities to brainstorm with experts and fellow participants

Clinic mentoring and sharing of ideas

An action planning session so that you implement your new ideas!

Six month workshop content outline:

October 2013

Create an inspiring vision

Connect with the real purpose of your practice

Set clear objectives for your practice and an outline of strategies to achieve them

Stephen Covey, author of ‘Seven habits of highly effective people’, suggests one starts with the end in mind. We believe for a truly successful practice, doing just that is vital. What is it that you want to achieve personally? Added to that, knowing and being clear about the purpose of your practice will not only motivate you to achieve it but make it easier to run your practice as a business too. You will of course get somewhere without a plan in place but having clear objectives will make decisions easier and give you a road map to follow.

October Clinical Mentoring:

Treatments- what are your aims, objectives and how far is your osteopathic reach?

November 2013

Define your perfect patient

Be clear on your USP

Define patient sources

Yes, everyone can be your patient! But who do you enjoy treating? What are you really good at? Defining your perfect patient does not mean you exclude all others, it means you are able to send clear messages out, including what's unique to you, to attract patients into your practice. There are so many sources of patients it can be quite overwhelming - where does one start?! Defining a handful of patient sources and knowing intimate detail about each one will increase your chances of success.

November Clinical Mentoring

What is your Osteopathy?

What drives you as a clinician?

Increasing awareness and formulating concrete CPD objectives.

December 2013

Marketing material

Online presence

Create a marketing plan for 2014

There are so many ways in which you can market your practice (or yourself within someone else's practice), so what works? We'll look at some clear guidelines for your marketing material both on and offline. We'll also help you to explore all your marketing options and support you in choosing what's right for you and your practice. Avoid trends of 'feast or famine' by creating a clear marketing plan for 2014 that suits your budget and plays to your strengths.

January 2014

Encouraging completion of treatment plans

Encouraging referrals

Create a referral plan for 2014

One of the biggest sources of income will be patients coming back for their entire treatment plan. One of the biggest hurdles recent graduates face is encouraging patients to do that. We'll explore easy to implement ways that will support you in improving patient retention (ethically!) One of your main sources of patients will be referrals - you will get them by being a good clinician but you can get so many more by having a plan in place.

January Clinical Mentoring

Prognosis role play workshop

February 2014

Enhance the patient journey

Creating a positive environment

Making the most of feedback

Being a good clinician is vitally important to create a sustainable, great practice but that's not the only step in the journey the patient travels with you. What are the key steps along the way? What do you need to do at every point to ensure an excellent and consistent experience? Getting feedback from patients is an excellent way to ensure you're meeting their needs - how do you get the feedback and how can you use it to maximum benefit?

February Clinical Mentoring

Prognosis

Choosing techniques on merit/ effectiveness

Effective exercise prescription / advice

March 2014

Know which numbers to monitor

Keeping track of numbers

Your support team & resources

You can only manage what you measure! Measuring numbers can be really simple and will support you so much in developing the practice you want. We'll help you define which numbers you want to measure and create a system to monitor and act on those numbers. You also have different roles that need to be fulfilled in the practice - get clear on what those are and who the best person is to fulfil them. We'll also help you to consider what procedures need to be in place to contribute to the success of your practice.
