Village health dinner at John Erdos Cafe

Village Health and Community Development is a small organization recently registered as a society in Singapore and a charity in Cambodia. Our mission is to bring health care to the children of Cambodia by establishing clinics directly on the school campus. As simple as this sounds, school health clinics are the norm in the developed world, but totally foreign in these undeveloped countries. Children with acute and chronic illness have no where to turn for proper advice.  Our goal is to provide these children with the basic health care and medical advice they deserve. We aim to meet these goals by providing:

• Basic health care
• Medical records for all the children
• Transport and referral service for patients requiring more advanced care
• Rotation of medical and dental specialists through the school when available
• A program to account for every absent student to assure they are getting the medical advise needed to return them to the classroom
