BPI AffiliatePure Energy Coach LLC has delivered building energy science training for over 30 years and we have audited more than 40,000 homes for energy conservation and efficiency improvements. The skills we will teach you are distilled from our many decades of practical hands-on, field experience. We have Test Center status with the Building Performance Institute (BPI) — the nation's premier building performance credentialing, quality assurance and national standards setting organization.

A. Tamasin Sterner has taught this course to dozens of BPI candidates in the last year. She and her staff strive to continuously coach energy technicians at every opportunity. Her company is a BPI Test Center, and she is BPI Building Analyst Professional, Envelope Professional, Heating Professional and Multi Family Building Analyst Professional Certified.

Larry Armanda taught combustion courses for the Weatherization Training Center at Pennsylvania College of Technology in Williamsport PA. He has presented this course many times for contractors in classroom settings and on-site. He is BPI Building Analyst Professional, Envelope Professional, Heating Professional and Multi Family Building Analyst Professional Certified.

 

Training and Testing in Support of BPI Building Analyst Professional Certification 

Pure Energy Coach continues to deliver its continuing education programs at its Lancaster training center. This four-day course incorporates classroom lectures, as well as demonstrations with an emphasis on student interaction during lab exercises. One day of optional testing follows the course.

Course Fee

$3,150*  Optional BPI testing after the course*

Fee includes:  training, one hour of post-training one-on-one mentoring, lunch every day, course materials, use of our computers and lab, use of our equipment and combustion lab, and a field trip to a heating lab.

*If you are employed in Berks or Lancaster Counties, you may apply for a $1,575 scholarship through the Berks-Lancaster Energy Partnership grant. You will receive a call prior to the start of the course for additional information needed to determine your scholarship eligibility. If you are not eligible for the scholarship, you will be responsible for the full cost of the course. BPI Exam costs are covered and required for grant recipients.
