REGISTER, RIDE, AND WIN!

May is National Bike Month! Be a part of this nation-wide event by signing up for Bike to Work Week.

The first 150 people to sign up for the Greater Mercer TMA's Bike Week 2012 will receive a limited edition Bike to Work 2012 t-shirt.

  • After Bike to Work Week is over, all participants will be eligible for a drawing to win incredible prizes from our generous sponsors (listed below).
  • Registration is FREE and open to everyone. We encourage you to register regardless of whether you ride to an office. If you're out there on a bike, replacing a trip that you'd otherwise be taking in a car, you deserve to be counted.
WHY REGISTER?
  • It lets us know how many cyclists will be riding and the distance of the commutes. This information is very important as we continue to advocate for bicycle friendly communities in Mercer and Ocean counties.
  • By registering and logging your miles at the end of the week, you will be eligible for our raffle of incredible prizes, donated by our generous sponsors!

    WHY RIDE?
    When you bike, you:

    • Let someone else pay those high gas prices.
    • Find the best parking spot.
    • Get in your daily workout.
    • Get healthy! A mere 30-minute ride to and from work at a leisurely pace burns 500 calories.
    • Reduce your carbon footprint by making one less trip by car.

For over 25 years, the Greater Mercer Transportation Management Association has provided commuter services to employers, commuters and the community. Established as a nonprofit, GMTMA is a public-private partnership dedicated to reducing traffic congestion and improving mobility in and around Mercer and Ocean counties. Our association consists of large and small employers, local governments, authorities and state agencies who share a commitment to providing transportation choices that are good for commuters, good for business and good for the environment.
