Nevada Medicaid Attestation Registration Attestation Process (Repeat) 

Nevada Medicaid EHR Incentive Program Registration and AIU (Adopt, Implement, Upgrade) Attestation is scheduled to launch in the first part of August. 

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) stimulus package includes incentives for health care providers that attain Meaningful Use with their electronic health record system (EHRs).  Eligible providers who adopt, implement, or upgrade to a certified EHR system can receive $21,250 during the first year of the incentive program (up to $63,750 in incentives over the six-year program). 

To begin the process you will register using the Medicare and Medicaid EHR Incentive Program Registration and Attestation System (https://ehrincentives.cms.gov/hitech/login.action).  In order to register for the EHR Incentive Program you must have a PECOS (Provider Enrollment, Chain, and Ownership System) user ID and password.  You can check your PECOS log in information here: https://pecos.cms.hhs.gov/pecos/login.do
