WHAT IS RELATIONAL PRESENCE?  

Relational Presence simply means being available for connection through a neutral gaze without agenda, or even a need for words. It is the pre-condition for communion; just being with others without judgment, demands or expectations.  It is the capacity to be comfortable with whatever situation arises and to respond in the moment, whether losing your train of thought or having an emergency in the room. Once you trust yourself to "think on your feet," stage fright melts away. The emphasis on being with one person at a time, allowing natural silence, and listening without judgment, relieves the pressure to perform.

SESSION 1: KEY TO ENGAGING HEARTS, MINDS AND SOULS

The capacity to be absolutely present with your clients is essential for coaches, consultants and facilitators to have maximal influence both one-on-one and in front of groups. Lack of such presence is rife in the field because it’s easy to get caught up in the content of your message and neglect the mission-critical relationship between you and your listeners. People choose to be with you rather than with a book or audio for a reason. The most profound impact comes from a quality of being rather than doing and doesn't involve the kind of "tips, tricks, and techniques" that can be learned by rote.

This teleclass will introduce you to the art of Relational Presence to increase your impact and your capacity to enroll others so you can increase your income authentically. If you are already strong and subtle in your presence, this hour will provide insights into how to maximize what you are already doing right.

SESSION II: HOW TO ACHIEVE PHONE PRESENCE MASTERY WHEN YOUR BUSINESS IS ON THE LINE

Relational Presence Teleseminar Series Presented By:

Lee Glickstein, founder of Speaking Circles International, is an authority on authentic power and presence in public speaking. His clients include top consultants, coaches and trainers, and he conducts trainings in masterful facilitator skills. He specializes in serving change agents or messengers who want to make a difference and may have some degree of anxiety or contraction around fully expressing themselves in public.

For the past 10 years he has taught a public speaking unit for the Organizational Development cohort at Sonoma State University.

He has trained facilitators in Relational Presence for the Pachamama Alliance, and has led speaking programs for New Dimensions Radio, the Institute of Noetic Sciences, and Stanford University, among others.

In 1989, Lee developed Speaking Circles as a way to make his innovative approach available to others. Since that time he has facilitated thousands of Speaking Circles, workshops, seminars and retreats around the world. The organization he founded, Speaking Circles International, has trained over 1000 Speaking Circle facilitators worldwide.

He is author of Be Heard Now! Tap Into Your Inner Speaker and Communicate with Ease (Broadway Books) , Be Heard Now! How to Speak Naturally and Powerfully in Front of Any Audience (Sounds True Audiotapes), and the Ebook: Speakers' Guide to Authentic Connection: The Alchemy of Influence through Relational Presence.

More recently, he recorded an audio album on telephone presence: Your Million Dollar Voice: How to Achieve Phone Presence Mastery When Your Business is on the Line.

Lee lives in Marin County, California, and his hobby is constructing crossword puzzles for the New York Times.
