 Design Your Office for
Maximum Productivity and Profit

New trends that have emerged in the 21st century are impacting  the way people work:

  • The increasing project- and deadline-based nature of work
  • The demise of the traditional 40-hour work week
  • The blurring  of the line that used to demarcate the world of work from our personal lives

This means that working 40 hours a week is not always possible and working from home or bringing home work is more often than not a routine part of life in the 21st century.

These new realities present some interesting challenges and opportunities, especially for boosting productivity and maintaining a good work-life balance. Whether you work for yourself or for someone else,  having a well-designed home office space allows you to do your job well, properly look after your clients (or employer) and helps ensure that your company stays profitable.

George Verdolaga shows you how to seamlessly incorporate workplace best practices to enable you to:
  • Work more efficiently and effectively
  • Be able to do your work with minimum interruptions
  • Look after yourself and your family as well as your business
  • Reduce your operating costs, legitimately deduct expenses and keep more of the income that you make

About the presenter:

George Verdolaga is an interior designer and president of Flowform Design Group. His work has been featured in various media outlets like the Globe & Mail, the Vancouver Sun, the Vancouver View, and a coffee table book called “Spectacular Homes in Western Canada”. George typically works on upgrading older homes to meet 21st century requirements. For newer homes, George’s chooses color, materials, finishes and furniture to create aesthetically pleasing spaces that enable people to relax and entertain as well as build and establish profitable businesses. He also provides tips on how to create the ideal live/work set-up that makes it possible to run a satellite office out of your own personal space.
