NEFLIN Young Adult Interest Group - Orange Park (2/18/14) 

Stan Cottle, the Founder/Director of In Search of Me, Inc. will be our featured guest speaker.  Stan is the creator of In Search of Me Café, an interactive educational program focused on teens. 

Stan believes the best way to help teens manage their problems and prepare for focused, productive and fulfilling lives is to provide them with age-specific, peer-to-peer methods for helping themselves. His cafe is sponsored by the American Academy of Pediatrics, Boys & Girls Clubs, Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry, Communities In Schools, National Institutes of Health, Rotary International and the YMCA.

We will then have discussion about programs and partnerships we have made to assess and meet the needs of youth in the communities we serve.

We will break for lunch. 

When we reconvene we will change topics and share our summer program ideas and bring our expertise to the table. 

Before we end our day we will choose a theme or topic for future meetings.
