KOGA Eastern KY Technical & Dinner Meeting

KOGA's Eastern KY Technical Session and Dinner Meeting will be held Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at the  Stumbo Convention Center at Jenny Wiley State Park, 75 Theatre Court, Prestonsburg, KY.

Prior to the dinner reception KOGA will be providing a Technical Session to start at 3:30pm with:

• "An Unconventional Look at the Rome Trough" - David C. Harris, Kentucky Geological Survey
  
• "Royalties, Regs and Other Legal Mumbo Jumbo" - Karen Greenwell, Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs
  
• "2014 General Assembly Legislative Review" -  Bill Barr, BlackRidge Resource Partners and KOGA Government Affairs Chairman
  

The Tuesday evening dinner will begin with a reception at 6:00 pm with dinner to follow at 6:45 pm featuring: 

• Kentucky Chautauqua Speaker David Hurt 
  

Mr. Hurt will give an historical account on "The Life and Times of John Caldwell Calhoun Mayo."  During his life, John C.C. Mayo was one of the largest land owners in Kentucky and one of the most consequential mineral owners in the history of the Commonwealth.
