APEX Learning Session: Implementing QAPI

HealthInsight New Mexico will be hosting the APEX Collaborative Learning Session 4 on Thursday, February 13, 2014 in Clovis, New Mexico from 11:00 am – 2:30 pm at the Retirement Ranches.

The focus of Learning Session 4 will be on Implementing Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI).

The Affordable Care Act of 2010 requires that nursing homes have an acceptable QAPI plan within a year of the promulgation of a QAPI regulation.  Take advantage of free QAPI training offered by HealthInsight for your staff to successfully implement your QAPI program now.

Share the rewards of QAPI:

  • Competencies that equip staff to solve quality problems and prevent their recurrence
  • Competencies that allow your staff to seize opportunities to achieve new goals
  • Fulfillment for caregivers as they become active partners in performance improvement
  • Better preparation and knowing what to expect from surveyors
  • Most importantly, better care and quality of life for your residents

This session is FREE.

Who is invited to participate: administrators, directors of nursing, assistant directors of nursing, staff development coordinator’s, MDS coordinators, nurses, certified nursing assistants, quality improvement staff, activity directors & assistants, dietary managers, social services, human resource directors and any other staff interested in providing quality care.

Registration is required. Class space is limited. To register click on the link or visit the APEX page of the HealthInsight New Mexico website at www.healthinsightnm.org/apex.
