About Alice:

As the CEO of Export Ventures Group and Managing Director of SKY Capital, Alice Chen is a leader in the export and M&A industry with a focus on the Americas-Asia trade and capital conduit. A frequent speaker on the topic of globalization, she has been interviewed in English and Mandarin Chinese by the CBC, the Wall Street Journal, MacLean’s Magazine, Canadian Business, the Vancouver Sun, Harper's Bazaar (China) and QQ on wine exports to China and inbound Chinese investments. She lead the wave of Canadian wine
export to Asia and was named Top 40 under 40 by Business in Vancouver in 2013.

Alice holds a B.Sc (Hons) from the University of Toronto and a J.D. from University of Calgary. She is a lawyer by training and practiced corporate and securities law at a prominent national law firm and as general counsel in the real estate industry. Prior to her legal career, Alice worked briefly as a film publicist for DreamWorks Studios.

A firm believer and advocate for personal development work, Alice devotes a significant portion of her free time to growing herself and overseeing the direction and operations of One Asian Education Inc., a pioneering social enterprise venture with a mission to empower women of Asian Heritage she co-founded in 2013.
