Taxes for Small Business – What You Need to Know

YYou are the expert at what your business does, but chances are you are not an expert on all the tax issues facing your business. What recent changes in tax laws impact you now? Where can you go to get tax answers? How can you ensure that your business complies with all the varied and complex tax rules that affect it? You already know tax rules can be complex, difficult and time consuming, and may have wished for a way to deal with business taxes that reduces those issues. Attend this free 2 hour workshop brought to you by BB&T and Raleigh SCORE for answers to these questions and more.

We will cover current tax issues involving payroll taxes, sales tax, and income tax. There will be time for questions, and our goal is to make you more knowledgeable about tax implications you might not be aware of. Our two speakers, Jess McLamb, president of Roper Bookkeeping, and Scott Hensley, partner at Stancil & Co, are practicing professionals who will help demystify tax issues.
