Council for Rural Housing & Development in Ohio is pleased to offer Rural Development 515 Program Compliance

On May 21, 2015, CRHDO will host the Rural Development 515 Program Compliance Training to be held at the Quest Conference Center from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.  Instructor, A. J. Johnson,  will present an overview of the program compliance regulations. 

Some of the topics this course will cover include:

• Overview of the Section 515 program per the HB-2-3560 MFA Asset Management Handbook
• Overview of the occupancy requirements such as tenant eligibility, verification processes and re-certifications
• How to calculate rent, utility allowances and security deposits
• How to administer and allocate the rental assistance subsidy
• Overview of the waiting list and selection of applicants from the waiting list
• Property management requirements, such as management plan, AFHMP, tenant selection plan
