Celebrate Our Champions!
The 2015 LifeTown Legends Luncheon will "Celebrate our Champions!" by honoring those who have a champion spirit. Join us on May 12 to hear heartwarming stories of achievement and perseverance while we celebrate those who demonstrate dedication to the lives of students with disabilities.
Chris discovered his biggest opponent in life wasn’t a hard-hitting football player, but rather the difficult fight his family had to endure as his wife battled cancer. Chris’ success wasn’t easy, but it came from his priorities of faith, family and community. With a 2009 membership in the College Football Hall of Fame and an 11-year career in the NFL, Chris is now an ESPN College Football Analyst, professional speaker, father and fundraiser. |
Arlene Weiss, a longtime volunteer for LifeTown, is a retired clinical counselor and art therapist. Michael Weiss is the recently retired CEO and Chairman of Express. Since LifeTown’s inception, Columbus City Schools has been our partner in helping to improve the lives of children with disabilities. Under Dr. Dan Good’s Leadership, Columbus City Schools is ensuring that students with disabilities have full membership within the classroom and in their community, and that all students are prepared for success outside of the classroom. |
