Member Reimbursement
SPARTAN will reimburse ALL members in good standing, $195 plus tax for up to three nights lodging between 7/23 and 7/25. In addition....
SPARTAN FULL MEMBERS
SPARTAN will reimburse up to $400 for domestic coach-class tickets and $800 for International flights (Canada and Mexico)
SPARTAN ASSOCIATE MEMBERS
SPARTAN will reimburse up to $300 for domestic coach-class tickets
TRAINEES
SPARTAN will reimburse up to $400 for domestic coach-class tickets and up to $100 for ground transportation and parking expenses
SPARTAN will reimburse members for airfare and hotel as detailed above only. All incidentals, meals not provided at the Annual Meeting, ground transportation (except for Fellows), baggage fees are the members’ responsibility. To qualify for the reimbursement, attendance at all sessions of the SPARTAN annual meeting is required. Please remember to 'sign-in' and 'sign-out' on a sheet (available at the entrance of the meeting hall) at the start and the end of the day.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging in Spondyloarthritis: A Workshop
We are pleased to announce a special workshop - Magnetic Resonance Imaging in Spondyloarthritis - conducted by an international panel of experts in musculoskeletal imaging. This high-tech program combines cross over learning modules in differential diagnosis (sorting it out from other similar conditions) and 3D imaging in AxSpA. The program is delivered using specialized software (DICOM) to translate the MRI images into 3D images that can be manipulated to study all different aspects of the pictures taken by the MRI machine. This outstanding program has been developed by SPARTAN member Walter Maksymowych. All are welcome to attend the workshop but space is limited to 60 on Friday, July 24 at the Brown Palace Hotel.
Annual Reception at the Denver Art Museum
We'll gather Saturday evening, July 25 at the beautiful Denver Art Museum for our annual reception and certificate presentation. It's just a short walk from our hotel and we'll have the chance to visit the spectacular Western Art Collection galleries and enjoy hearty appetizers and beverages.
