Record Keeping and Taxes 

Designed for new business owners, this one hour "brown bag" seminar covers basic financial and tax rules for small businesses.  

Topics of discussion include keeping business and personal transactions separate, legal entity types, doing business across state lines, embezzlement protection, filing requirements and accounting terminology.

Learn from Robin’s 25 years helping small businesses comply with tax laws, protect the owner’s personal assets and have useful accounting information.    Robin will take the complex and make it understandable in a course she manages to make interesting and upbeat.  

Robin Hayden, MBA, CPA is also a Certified Fraud Examiner.  She earned a BA and MS in Psychology.  She was a mental health therapist for 10 years prior to getting her MBA in accounting.  

Robin is active in the community, volunteering for a variety of non-profit boards over the years.  She is personable and engaging. 

Robin is a shareholder at Houck & Associates, PC, a certified public accounting firm in downtown Vancouver specializing in small businesses and their owners.

This one hour SCORE seminar is offered in partnership with the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce.  The Registration Fee is $10 and seating is limited to 20 pre-registered attendees by using the using the link below.
