NEFLIN Creative Spaces Interest Group - DeLand (09/10/15)
Creative Spaces Interest Group - new members are always welcome!
This interest group will explore the topic of “creative library spaces”, broadly defined. A portion of the first meeting will be used to determine specific member interests. Possible topics include maker spaces, creative renovation/reuse of existing spaces, design for new spaces, engaging patrons and staff in active creative activities.
The Creative Spaces Interest Group will meet at 1:30 pm after the Beyond MakerSpaces presentation and tour presented by Susan Ryan.

Interest Group Leader: Ann Lindell, University of Florida
Ann Lindell is Chair of Departmental Libraries and Head, Architecture & Fine Arts Library at the University of Florida, where she has been employed since 1995. Ms. Lindell holds an MLIS from the University of South Carolina, and MFA from Washington University and a BA from Agnes Scott College. Ms. Lindell has held leadership positions in the Association of College & Research Libraries and the Art Libraries Society of North America. She currently serves on the Executive Board of the Association of Architecture School Librarians.
