LeTCI Workshop in Madison August 6, 2015

This workshop will address the “LeTCI” Concept of structuring and defining Results as a key part of writing and scoring the Baldrige Performance Excellence Criteria. LeTCI is an acronym for “Levels”, “Trends”, “Comparisons”, and “Integration.” Baldrige examiners use these 4 factors in evaluating the Results Category 7. This workshop is structured as follows:
  • Brief introduction to the concept of LeTCI.
  • Group identifies questions and issues they may be dealing with relative to results.
  • Discussion on the structure of Baldrige Category 7 and where specific results may be located in each Category 7 Item.
  • A results scoring simulation demonstrating how to maximize results effectiveness.
  • A discussion on the types of charts, applicability and usage for most effect.
  • A discussion and group exercise on how to write effective results comments to maximize Integration, linkage, and alignment with Categories 1 – 6 and the Organizational Profile.
  • Question and Answer wrap-up.
This workshop is approximately 3.5 hours in length. Reference materials will be provided as hand-outs. Attendees will gain a more in-depth understanding of the structure of the Baldrige Results Category, how to better design, understand and interpret results, and how to use results descriptions to more effectively to integrate results with ADLI.

Who should attend:
  • People who are involved in doing Baldrige assessments and writing Baldrige Applications.
  • Examiners wanting more in-depth insight into nuances of Category 7.
The workshop will be delivered by two National Baldrige Award recipients, one on whom was also a lead National Baldrige judge.
