Inaugural Jim Loiselle Awards Event hosted by AFCEA San Diego and Rady's Children's Hospital
AFCEA San Diego Chapter has teamed up with Rady’s Children’s Hospital to launch the Inaugural Jim Loiselle Awards Event at Dussini Loft Bar on August 26th from 5-7pm.
Jim Loiselle was a beloved member of the San Diego Defense Community. He had a long and distinguished Naval career and retired as a Navy Captain. As a devout community servant, Jim was a member of the Mesa Secure and Torrey Pines Technologies Advisory Board and most notably a valued member of AFCEA International since 2006. Jim held several positions within San Diego AFCEA Chapter including President from 2010-2012 and Chairman of the Board of Directors. In honor of Jim, AFCEA San Diego has instituted the Jim Loiselle volunteer award. This award will be given once a year to the individual within the chapter who exemplifies Jim’s life. An individual who holds ethics at the highest level and volunteers their time to better the individuals around them, never quitting, and always working at peace with all.
All proceeds with be split 50/50 between AFCEA San Diego Education Foundation and Rady’s Children’s Hospital, at Jim’s family’s request.
This event begins shortly after the Gold Coast closes for the day and is located across the street from the convention center. Dussini Loft Bar is upstairs at The Old Spaghetti Factory. 275 5th Ave, San Diego, CA 92101. The evening’s agenda is as follows:

Cost is $60 with pre-registration and $75 at the door.
Beer, wine and food will be provided.
