This learning event will explore the notions of race, racism and racial justice on a personal, interpersonal, cultural and institutional level.  We will engage a range of tools including movie and video clips, discussion, personal storytelling, and breakout sessions with the goal of expanding our understanding of race and deepen our commitments to racial justice in the United Church of Christ and beyond.

Everyone is welcome. These are important conversations to be having in our congregations, whatever their size or racial makeup. Come. Bring a team from your church. Be in conversation. Go home with the resources and the skills to begin such conversations in your congregation. This event fulfills 7 hours toward Associations' continuing education requirements for authorized ministers.

Registration deadline for the event is October 29, 2015.

Registration Fee:  Overnight  $115.00

                                Commuter  $55.00 (includes all meals)
