A free, four-day program focused on training participants in relationship building and conflict resolution. This training is ideal for family members, educators and other professionals who serve on IEP teams.

Albia RESPECT Training is presented by ASK Resource Center in partnership with the Green Hills AEA Parent & Educator Connection and Great Prairie AEA Parent-Educator Connection, and is funded by the Iowa Department of Education and by the Parent Training and Information Center grant from the U.S. Dept. of Education, #H328M0900007, Project Officer, David Emenheiser.

All training classes are held from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

RESPECT training is FREE of charge for participants. All meals and training materials will be provided, and stipends are available for parents ($50 per day) and educators ($100 per day to defray the cost of substitute teachers).

RESPECT training offers the following credit options:

Social Work Credit:  24 credit hours

Graduate Credit:  2 credit hours*

*can be used toward teacher re-licensure
