New Low Temperature FKM Products from 3M

OVERVIEW

 3M has a complete line of fluoroelastomers including FKM products for very low temperature applications down to -40° C.  3M has recently developed and commercialized two new low temperature FKM products for application use at -30° C.  This paper will give an overview of these products, including applicable performance data.

ABOUT OUR PRESENTER

Larry Mize is currently the Western USA Key Account Manager for 3M Advanced Materials Division.  Larry has been with 3M for 13 years.  Prior to that he spent five years at GE Plastics in a business development role, five years at A. Schulman in marketing, business development, tech service and sales, and eight years at General Motors as a materials engineer.  Larry received his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Detroit (Go Titans!) and his Master’s of Science in material science from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
