CalAPA members and public agency personnel are invited to the CalAPA Los Angeles area Technical Committee meeting, where technical information and best practices about Hot Mix Asphalt will be discussed in an informal setting.
Featured Presentation: The meeting will focus on new Pavement Smoothness Specifications and how the specifications are being applied to projects around the state, and the difficulty some contractors are encountering in meeting the new specifications. The featured speaker will be Donald M. Matthews, P.E., (pictured at right), the technical manager for Pavement Recycling Systems Inc. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from Cal Poly Pomona and a Master's Degree from Cal State Long Beach. In addition to the featured presentation, CalAPA staff will share the latest information on state asphalt pavement specifications, funding projections, policy matters and industry news. The meeting encourages interaction and knowledge-sharing from all participants.
The meeting is free and open to all CalAPA members and agency personnel. Please RSVP at the buttom below.
