The Healthy Teacher Network Professional Development Workshop will showcase strategies for promoting and creating healthier school environments in Chicago. Join us for this interactive professional development workshop for teachers, educators and support staff.

• Interactive sessions led by experts in the field
• Urban Initiatives will present on the importance of implementing high-quality recess and strategies to keep students focused by moving in the classroom
• UIC Chicago Partnership for Health Promotion will present on how to lead healthy celebrations, ideas for the preparation of healthy snacks and how to reward good behavior without using food

• Free resources to promote and create a healthier school environment
