Boston SCORE Workshop: Financing Sources for Startups and Small Businesses 

This workshop presents an overview of financing sources for startups and small businesses that covers debt, equity and alternative options. A company may need to raise capital to get off the ground or to fuel growth, and understanding the options is crucial to determining the best funding mechanism. 

This workshop is co-sponsored by the Boston Chapter of SCORE and the Kirstein Business Library at the Boston Public Library.  

The workshop is presented by Riley Rodgers.  Riley has mentored more than 100 start-ups over the last year as a volunteer for SCORE. Riley is an Associate for the Boston-based Arctaris Capital Partners and the founder of Crash Alert. Riley has reviewed hundreds of startups and small businesses through Arctaris and has participated on several deals and investment advisory projects. He is also a board member and mentor for several non-profits in New England.
