October 8 - 9, 2016 Adult Retreat
Join us in Historic Downtown Staunton in the heart of the picturesque Shenandoah Valley for a weekend filled with educational programming and community building. This weekend retreat is for adults diagnosed with a bleeding disorder and their guest (age 21 and over).
Saturday, October 8 - Retreat begins at 10:00 am
- “Being Relationally Fit” with Lisa Merlo-Booth, M.A., this workshop is about setting the foundation for healthy relationships by mastering the skills of healthy boundaries and self-esteem
- After dinner you will not want to miss the “Twelfth Night” at the American Shakespeare Center
Sunday, October 9 - Retreat will conclude by noon
- HFA FitFactor session – learn about how to improve your health, fitness, and quality of life through regular physical activity
- NHF Education for Empowerment workshop “Getting Unstuck: Overcoming Roadblocks to Intimacy and Relationships” - explores ways to strengthen intimacy through targeted communication and behaviors to help overcome roadblocks and enhance relationships
